This is the month of thankfulness Day 28. Thankfulness is a choice. Amazingly enough, it is a decision to focus on the good instead of the bad. Shocking, I know! Focusing on the bad is so easy because what we perceive as bad is everywhere.
Please, for this month, try to list 5 things you are thankful for on a daily basis. Find the joy in the small acts of kindness and the simple things of life. This list can be from the smallest of small things to the biggest of bigs. It can be common (electricity or food) or uncommon (fuzzy socks and asparagus).
Remember that God is bigger than all those other bad things. There is a greater purpose, here on this Earth, and that is to enjoy the blessings around us. Stop, smell the roses, enjoy life, smile more, bask in the sunlight, and revel at the stars.
