National Adoption Awareness Month

National Adoption Awareness Month

I love the month of November.  It is National Adoption Awareness Month.  November is very special to me.  It is the month that my firstborn daughter arrived in this world.  Also, it is my birth month.  My favorite holiday is this month.  Thanksgiving.

This month, I will be sharing my story on my adoptions. I am also blessed to be in a huge adoption community, so I’m hoping to have some guest bloggers, sharing their stories of how adoption shaped their families.

Different Adoption Stories

This is not all going to be rainbows and lollipops.  Adoption is HARD.  I mean it is H.A.R.D.  There are moments when I want to hide under the bed, in a fetal position, eating cheese and crying.  Then there are moments that my heart is so full it could burst and I my desire to bring more kids into my life overwhelms me.

These guest bloggers will all have different stories.  There are some people who are the adoptees, sharing their stories.  Families who chose to adopt first and then have biological children. Some have biological children first and then adopt.  Stories of infertility, childhood dreams of adoption, and so much more.

Share and Get the Word Out on Adoption

Please share this blog with all your families and friends.  We need to get the word out on the beautiful mess of adoption.  Come join us on this journey of love and you read the raw stories of so many families whose lives have been impacted by adoption.
