Strong and Kind by Korie Robertston: REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

This is a very easy book to read.  I personally believe the stories she shares of her family makes this book.  After watching Duck Dynasty since it came out (a favorite of our family), we feel as if we know them on a personal level.  Korie is humble and honest.  She uses her parenting fails and successes to help a fellow parent walk down this treacherous road.  In the first, probably quarter, of the book, there is a beautiful layout of each of her kids from various stages of their lives.  It also highlights her and Willie…..his dimples…..specatular 🙂

I have highlighted, marked, and starred several key phrases that I want to remember in raising my own kids…and finding those 2 traits….she choose Strong and Kind.  I choose Strong and Honest but I want my kids to have all of those character traits.  This is a good book to add to my library and to pull down in counseling sessions with clients and when I’m about to pull my hair out with my own kids.
