Healthy Lifestyle Update

I wouldn’t say I have fallen off the wagon…my feet were dragging the ground a bit for the last few weeks, but I’m still on that wagon 🙂

I have not lost any more weight but I have not gained any weight.  I guess I could count that as a win.

I refuse to live life without the things I love, but I am reducing those things.  I have continued to keep my water intake up (between 84-120 ozs a day), while reducing my coke intake.  I also rarely eat sweets (sometimes hard candy, but even that is really only on Sunday).

I haven’t had a sandwich in…well…I don’t know how long.  It’s been a while.  I have found some good recipes and then I’ve found some stinker ones.  You can find me on pinterest under the username thebarefoothomeschooler.  I have 2 boards…one says “Low Carb” and the other says “Low Carb, Made and Liked.”

Today, for lunch…I dredged some zucchini slices in egg and then in parmesan.  I put them on a cookie sheet. I added some fresh mushrooms.  I also had a few slices of pepperoni.  Yummy!  Yesterday, I did stuffed peppers (I cut the peppers in half).  It was pretty fantastic too.

My goal is to make fat bombs for Big Daddy and then I’m going to do the sugar free chocolate pudding with heavy cream for later.  It is spectacular.  I only it less than a teaspoon a day because it is just enough to scratch that itch.
