Italian Casserole – Low Carb

1 pound ground beef

1 pound italian sausage

1 clove garlic

2 T. minced onion

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms

1 can tomato sauce

1 tsp. Italian Seasoning

10 oz. fresh spinach, chopped

4 oz. mozzarella

Seasoning

Brown beef, onion, garlic, and seasoning until done.  Drain fat.  Add spinach, mushrooms, italian seasoning, mozzarella, and tomato sauce.  Simmer and then put it on a greased 13×9 pan.

Topping:

1/2 c. sour cream

1/2 c. mayo

1/2 t. garlic powder

Seasoning

1/2 c. parmesan

4 oz. mozzarella

Mix and spread over meat mixture.  I added a bit more parm and mozz. to the top.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Servings:  12
