This week, I will be making the recipes that we all enjoyed! My brain is on overload with all the recipe surfing! I don’t make the same recipes, often, but my family does enjoy when I do make a repeat dinner because it is a rarity (other than our standing date of pizza nights on Thursday). I’m giving myself a break. Big Daddy will be taking inventory of our kitchen freezer because last week we bought a lot of things that we already had…we don’t want to repeat that mistake again!
Breakfasts are much of the same…cheese cubes or eggs and cheese for me. Bacon, sausage and eggs for him.
Lunch: I made a big thing of cabbage casserole for my fella. We will have BLT salads, pepperoni chips, homemade cheetos, cheeseburgers (without bun), and I’m going to make pepperoni cheese bites this time around.
Wednesday night we eat at church.
Pizza night on Thursday (creature of habit)
Sundays, I don’t cook.
Monday night (since we had to delay Boo’s birthday dinner because of this freaking snow): fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, chips, birthday cake.
Oddly, I don’t eat much when I cook for birthdays. I make sure the kids and adults are fed. I will pick, a bit, but I will not sit down and eat. I also never partake in the cake…not much of a sweet tooth.
