Pan Seared NY Strip Steak and Small Baked Potato for Two
2 4 oz. NY Strip Steaks
1 container of fresh mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
2 small baked potato
2 T. cheddar
1 T. butter
Pan sear NY strip steaks until done…there is no oil in this or butter. Just seared because the steaks were tenderized and incredibly thin.
Sautee, in separate pan, the onion, garlic and mushrooms (peppers would be awesome with this, but I didn’t have any). You don’t need any butter or oil…the mushrooms have enough liquid to keep it from burning.
Once steak is done, spoon veggies over it.
Serve with steamed broccoli.
Bake potato in microwave, in oven, or in crockpot. I added a pat of butter and 2 T. cheddar.

Not “healthy” but it was a nice treat for a mini date night with my fella. We ate a light breakfast and lunch to accommodate and we’ve had loads of water.
