Homemade Dill Pickles
4 c. white vinegar
2 c. water
8 tsp. salt
**Was told to add sugar to cut down on the vinegary taste**
Fill a teapot with water and bring to a boil. Pour boiling water into the jars and allow to sit for 1 minute.
Once jars are cleaned, add your cucumbers. Clean your cucumbers and either cut them into spears, circles or cubes. Place them in the jars.
Bring the white vinegar, water, and salt to a boil. Pour the brine over the cucumbers, being sure to cover the cucumbers. Seal and refrigerate.
Then, prepare to cry 🙂
