You Would Think

You would think

that when you walked with the Lord

there would be no sadness.

You would think

that when you know the Lord indwells in you

you wouldn’t feel so alone.

You would think

that when you know Truth and the Truth has set you free

the darkness that surrounds you would not close in.

It does.

Satan is alive and well.

He is roaming the earth waiting to kill, steal, and destroy you.

I know the end of the story.

We win.

Be encouraged.

Know Truth.

Know you are created in the image of God.

Know you are loved beyond comprehension.

When sadness settles in.

When you feel alone.

When the darkness swallows you up.

He.  Is.  There.

He is holding you.

He is protecting you.

He loves you.

He will not leave you or forsake you.

You.  Are.  His.

Today, I feel very alone.

I feel very unworthy.

I feel very unloved.

I feel like I have no purpose here on this earth.

I feel like I have no one.

Those are lies.

Matt 28:20   I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)

Prov. 31:10b She is worth far more than rubies.

Psalms 139:14 advises us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 28:20 And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

That, my friends is Truth in the face of lies.

I choose to believe.
