Make your own swiffer wet and dry mops

This, could possibly be the equivalent to rocket science LOL

I’m sitting here, thinking about how to save money, how to be greener and how to teach my kids that you don’t have to buy expensive stuff to get the results you want, when you clean your house.  I want them to be able to take what they learn from me and pass it down to their children, someday.

Homemade Swiffer Dry Mops

Take your swiffer mop head and a towel (or a microfiber cloth) and cut to the size of your mop head.  Use LOL, then wash 🙂  Brilliant, I know.  I’m beside myself with pride because of this revelation (insert sarcasm).

Swiffer Wet Mop

Mix the Murphy’s oil soap about 2 T.  and water in a bucket.

Murphy’s oil soap is safe to use on laminate, wood, tile, and linoleum.

Dip the mop head lightly into the solution to dampen, and mop your floors as usual.
