Raising Boys and Raising Girls.

RAISING BOYS

Image

They are cute.

They smell like beef and cheese or candy.

They give great hugs.

Their toy collection consists of cars and guns.

They can run through the house and touch all the light fixtures.

They can swing on the closet bar, like Tarzan, and put holes through the wall, yet fix it with duct tape.

In an 8×10 room, they can play full tackle football, complete with injuries.

They eat fast.

They love hard.

They fall and then they get right back up.

They can fall from a tree, bruising kidneys and backs and climb back up it the next day.

The run horses will yelling YEEHAW like a cowboy.

They like to play cowboys and indians with a “live horse” while shooting cap guns behind said horse (not wise, friends…not wise).

Boogers can be lunch.

Any kind of food, on a stick, is appealing.

Bushes will never survive boys.

RAISING GIRLS

They cry.

Then they laugh.

They flip their hair.

Then they cry.

Then they laugh.

Then they flip their hair.

This is our journey of adoption, love, homeschooling and living life to the fullest.....even if we do live in chaos (can't have anyone over syndrome).
