Spaghetti Sauce

To add more bang to my buck, with spaghetti sauce, I browned a pound of sausage with minced garlic, an onion, a pepper, fresh or canned mushrooms, seasoning and a cup of shredded zucchini….then I add 2 packs of spaghetti mix and my spaghetti sauce with some water to thin it out.  I chopped the onion and the pepper very fine to avoid the “what are these huge chunks” comments (mainly from Big Daddy).  

I’ve also been cooking a box of whole wheat pasta, along with a box of regular pasta to enhance the nutritional value.  I didn’t take a picture because I forgot AND the kids were starving.  Leftovers never last in this house.
