I made a REALLY good breakfast casserole, tonight (sorry, no picture...we ate it too fast)…
It stresses me out to put down the ingredients and then how to do it step by step….so I’m not gonna do that LOL….That being said…this is how to make a breakfast casserole!
In skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil, fresh garlic, 1 onion (chopped), 1 pepper (chopped) and if you get really wild, you can add 1 c. of shredded zucchini (I’m out). Saute till soft. Add 1 lb. of sausage. Add seasoning. Cook till done.
In a greased 13×9 pan, layer 1/2 of the meat mixture, 1/2 c. of bisquick, sprinkle with cheddar. Repeat layers. In separate bowl, mix together 1 c. milk, 8 eggs and a squirt of mustard. Pour over layered mixture and use a fork to enable the egg to penetrate the whole casserole.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Enjoy 🙂
