Seasoning Mix. This is the recipe I use to season all my food. I actually double and sometimes triple this recipe.
1 c. salt (I use kosher salt, but regular salt is fine too)
1/4 c. garlic powder
1/4 c. onion powder
1/8 c. pepper
Mix all of this together in a Tupperware container. Honestly, I use an old parmesan container.
Shake before you use it and sprinkle on anything you would normally season. Sometimes, I will throw in some Seasoning Salt, but that is when I have it. Sadly, I don’t usually have that on hand.
This concoction helps me NOT to oversalt or over garlic my food. I have a tendency to do both, especially with regular (fine) salt.
